COVID Policy

Sky Railway and Santa Fe Southern Railway, (company or companies) are dedicated to preserving the health of their customers and employees. We will follow the Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines and requirements from the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) that are applicable and will adjust protocols as these guidelines are updated.

All riders on Sky Railway will need to show proof of vaccination (if eligible) prior to boarding. Mask will be required onboard our trains except while drinking and eating.

What’s the Address to the Santa Fe Depot?

430 West Manhattan Avenue, Santa Fe, NM

Directions to Santa Fe Railyard from the South:

Exit 284 to St. Francis Drive North. Continue approximately 2.5 miles north on St. Francis Drive (Route 285/84). Turn right at light onto Cerrillos Rd. Continue one block and turn left at light onto Guadalupe, then left on Manhattan Avenue which will lead you to the underground parking structure

*The area on the left between Cerrillos Road and Montezuma Avenue is the North Railyard

Directions to Santa Fe Railyard from the North:

South 285/84 turns into St. Francis Drive. Turn left at light onto West Alameda. Turn right at light onto Guadalupe, then right on Manhattan Avenue which will lead you to the underground parking structure

*The area on right between Montezuma Avenue and Cerrillos Road is the North Railyard

Parking at Santa Fe Railyard

Parking is plentiful and convenient in the North Railyard. There are 400 spaces in the 3-level underground parking structure near REI and 500 surface spaces spread across The Railyard, both north and south of Paseo de Peralta.

There are four ways to access the Railyard Parking Structure:

Parking rates at the Railyard are as follows:

Meters: Monday through Saturday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
$2 per hour for the first two hours
$3 per hour thereafter

Garage: Open daily from 6 am to 12 am. Saturday, 5:30 a.m. to 12am.
$1 for the first hour
$2 per hour thereafter
$12 maximum same day

Where to Meet?

Boarding takes place on the tracks directly in front of the Old Santa Fe Train Depot. Our trains are hard to miss, look for our sign and one of our platform attendants will check you in.

What is the Address of Lamy Train Depot?

152 Old Lamy Trail, Lamy, NM 87540

Directions From Santa Fe to Lamy Depot:

Lamy Train Depot is an easy 25 minute drive from downtown Santa Fe. Heading South out of downtown, take I-25 North towards Las Vegas, New Mexico. In 6.1 miles, take exit 290 for US-285 South towards Clines Corners. Continue on 285 South for 6.2 miles. Turn Left onto Old Lamy Trail for 1.6 miles. When the pavement ends, you’ll find the depot on your right.

Directions From Albuquerque to Lamy Depot:

Lamy Train Depot is just over an hour’s drive from Albuquerque. Take I-25 North towards Santa Fe for 66 miles. Take exit 290 for US-285 South towards Clines Corners. Continue on 285 South for 6.2 miles. Turn Left onto Old Lamy Trail for 1.6 miles. When the pavement ends, you’ll find the depot on your right.

Parking at Lamy Depot

Parking is easy and FREE at our Lamy Depot. We have 90 spots directly in front of our station. Just pull in and park!

 

What to Wear

What to wear while you ride the rails

Sky Railway recommends checking your daily weather report before coming out to ride our trains so that you can best decide how to dress.

Our historically restored trains are equipped with floor heaters for those cool Santa Fe nights and winters days, but you may want an extra layer just in case you decide to step out onto one of our open air flatcars or if you tend to get chilly.

Things heat up pretty quick during our summers here in the high desert. Our classic 1924 Pullman cars have windows that are open to let that clean mountain air cool you down. If you tend to overheat, inquire about our air-conditioned car the Celeste

Close toe shoes with flat outer soles are suggested to keep your toes warm and for better balance moving around our train cars.

Cancellations/Credit Card Charges

Cancellations:

24-hour advance cancellation notice is required to avoid forfeiture of payment.
5 to 15-day cancellation notice may apply for some special events, holidays and larger parties.
Delayed and “No show” guests who do not call will not be entitled to a refund, so please remember to call if you are delayed.

Credit Card Charges:

Charges will appear on your statement as "FH* Sky Railway Unlimi".
